Croatia lies on the Mediterrenean Sea the neighboring countries are Slovenia and Hungaria in the north, Serbia in the north east and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the east and Montenegro in the south east. The Croats issued the first waterprotection legislation in 1891, their coast is one of the cleanest in the Mediterrenean. The flag of Croatia consist of 3 stripes in White, Red and Blue.        In front of it stands the coat of arms of Croatia with the Red and White Chessboard pattern. Above the coat of arms is crowend the shields of the five Croation regions Croatia, Dalmatie, Dubrovnik, Istrië and Slevonie
